Business Storytelling Photography with Host Coffee Roaster in Chichester, West Sussex
Recently, I had the pleasure of teaming up with Becca, the creative mind behind Host Coffee Roaster in Chichester, West Sussex. As a photographer based in Sussex, I've been enjoying Becca's delicious coffee at my local cafe at The Chapel in Graylingwell Park for a while now, so when I spotted the 'Host Hut' next door where Becca runs her business, I couldn't resist popping in to say hello.
After chatting with Becca for hours and finding out all about her coffee business, I proposed the idea of working on a business storytelling photoshoot together. I'm passionate about capturing stories through photography, focusing on lifestyle shots, movement, portraits, and the all little details that bring a brand to life. Instead of just static product shots and wanted to create a visual narrative that reflected a typical 'day in the life' as a coffee roaster and small business owner.
During our session at the Host Hut, Becca's background as an event stylist brought a whole new level of creativity to the shoot. Together, we captured everything from portraits of Becca at work, to the coffee-making process, from bean to cup. We also made sure to highlight those essential tasks involved in running a small business, like stamping and packaging.
I hope you enjoy looking through some highlights from the shoot. I think the photos we produced together give a real flavour of Becca's passion for coffee-making and how much love and attention goes into making the wonderful coffee that she offers to the local community.
