Business Storytelling Photography for Local Space Housing Charity
Local Space is a small housing charity based in Stratford, East London and I've had the pleasure of working with them as their photographer since 2018. Over the years, I’ve built up a library of vibrant images that capture the essence of Local Space - including their high-quality homes, the residents who live there, and the staff who deliver their services.
As a people-focused organisation, residents are at the heart of everything that Local Space do, so it was really important that I captured them looking relaxed and happy in their homes. I also wanted to make sure I represented the friendly warm, nature of Local Space staff, showing them at work in the office, collaborating at conferences and raising money for charity. I also focused on the high quality of the properties that Local Space provides, through interior photography and architecture photography, as well as some local landmarks in Stratford.
For Local Space and I this is a long term collaboration so that they have a consistent flow of images to use for their website, newsletters, social media, corporate annual report and other publications. Some of the images have also been published as PR photography in housing press such as Inside Housing Magazine.
My business storytelling photography sessions are designed to capture the essence of your business. The first thing we'll do is have a chat, and I'll look at your website, social media, press etc to get a feel for your business's style and personality. I'll then put together a proposal for you setting out how I think I can best tell your story. This might be a 'day in the life' session if you're an independent creator, or a series of sessions capturing different aspects of your business if you're a corporate organisation.
I have a passion for working with charities, housing associations, and community groups - it’s so rewarding to support organisations that have a real social impact, and I cherish the long-term relationships I build with my clients.
