Photography for L'étrangère Exhibition at Austin Desmond Art Gallery

I was invited by L'étrangère Gallery to photograph an exhibition they were hosting at Austin Desmond Art Gallery in Bloomsbury, London. "Staying with the Trouble" was an exhibition of fourteen women artists inspired by Donna J. Haraway's book, offering diverse perspectives on womanhood.

As an interiors photographer this was a commission that required my most meticulous of editing skills to ensure that the artist's work was represented accurately. Each photo required many hours of fine tuning to perfect angles and lens distortion and remove surface glare and dust. I spent time working as a picture editor after I finished my photography degree so these skills came in handy for this particular project.

The resulting photos were used for promotional purposes on both the Austin Desmond website which you can view here and the L’etrangere website which you can view here. Please note that the image gallery below does contain images of female nudity.

If you're hosting an exhibition and are looking for an interior photographer who is dedicated to providing carefully edited photos then I'd love to hear from you. I'm now based in Chichester, West Sussex but I'm always happy to travel and cover the rest of West and East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, Dorset and London too.
